01 of 25 Family Meals: Hermitage Guigal Chateauneuf 90 98

Hello, nice

The family is coming for 25 with the classic herring apples entry. Since a special theme party or poland I tried multiple combination http://www.degustateurs.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=6324&KW=hareng , I went to the evidence that the champagne was working well (not a great Champagne anyway). So on the cobblestones of deer that I'm focused.
Apart from a rather plain Champagne, I had open from noon:

Chablis Montmains W. Fevre 2004 : a discreet nose on hay, fern with a background light caramel that betrays not a bottle top. The bopuche is tight with a nice long straight overwrap material but the caramel notes are clearly the gun remains the same for the final. Too bad because the wine's structure was beautiful.
For the doe, you attack with:

Chateauneuf du Pape, Font de Michelle 98 : A powerful nose ripe red fruit, leading kirchée, balsamic notes, background chocolate, saffron and spicy side . The mouth is stout, broad, with rounded tannins, style cavalry kirchée cherry, chocolate. The finish is powerful on the candied cherry, chocolate flavored with spices with a side "souk". It sure it keeps the game but this power is plys including alcoholic really my thing. I enjoyed this bottle, it tires me very quickly. This is a beautiful wine enthusiasts and power will be served. Very Good 88.

Hermitage Guigal 90: A beautiful nose of crates on a background of old leather, hint of soot, pepper, myrtle. The mouth is stout, straight, long, with silky tannins, great depth and almost a touch of austerity on the ripe cassis, pepper, leather, soot. The finish is fresh with a hint of bitterness, long persistent preque candied ripe cassis, leather, spice, pepper, soot. Very nice wine, superb agreement with the dish (very classical as well). Excellent 94. A bottle straighter and austere than 2 years ago tasted with Filduf, Patrick, Nicolas R. .. the restaurant in Meursault.

Finally to finish on a cheese platter, my "redneck" has brought this old keel from a redemption of the cellar without believing, while the bottle is presented perfectly and gave me really want:

Amicalement, Matthieu

Some thought before Christmas : Vosne Romanee, Chassagne and Puligny, Corton

Hello,

Some thought tasted before Christmas to put in the mouth:

Gewurztraminer 2007 Pfersigberg Ginglinger : rich nose of guava, lychee amid bramble pink floral notes and a hint of amber with a salty side. The mouth is large, oily, thick material that keeps the tone, one side salt and a touch bitter take wine, exotic fruit, flowers. The finish offers a touch sweet, in a set based on the bitter, long-persistent, and power with a fat side of the aromas nose. Very Good 88-90

Henri Boillot Puligny Montrachet 2007 : A modest nose dominated a note grilled reduced?, On pear, almond, advanced frangipanne, chalky substance , flint mineral. Mouth attack straight, long, creeping, material round, small hollow attack, then pear, chalk, almond. The finish is round, but almost dynamqiue fraiche on toasted / smoky, pear, chalk, flint. Very Good 87-89

Remilly Morey Chassagne Montrachet In-Coffinet 2007 : 2nd bottle does me this long resisted as the first had a great time. A seductive nose of ripe yellow fruit on the bottom smoked notes of honey, brioche, almond. The mouth is wide, wide field, enveloping held on pear, roasted edge, chalky note. The finish is full, just as greedy, slightly less than the previous one held on the bottle pear notes of chalk, butter, almond. A bottle a bit more restrained than the previous one and plump. Very Good - Excellent 90 +

Vosne Romanee 2007 Domaine Rion : Class A nose very smoky and delicious on ripe currants, notes of blackberry, elderberry, licorice and spice tip. The palate is fleshy, delicious, precise, light tannin, but the touch taffeta on blackcurrant elderberry, blackberry, smoke and tip. The finish is off, tonic peak ripe greedy cons balanced by a bitter note, nice smoky blackberry cassis persistence. Very Good 89

Maréchaude Corton, Doudet Naudin 2003 : A nose of ripe black fruit, stewed class background beautiful wooded style. The silky tannin mouth attack generous robust, broad fruit black mature woodland. The final deadline for candied aromas keep enough power and "cool" to avoid the heavy, persistent Honet but no great complexity that day. Very Good-Excellent 90 +

Marconnets Beaune Bouchard P & F 2003 : A delicious nose of currant jelly, prunes tip anyway, cherry burlat, kirchée light, mocha background with balsamic notes of underbrush, mushroom. The mouth is wide stout in the attack, full, round tannins, ripe fruit stewed without sugar, mocha, mushroom. The finish has a touch kirchée warm in a broad set type prunes, stewed black fruit, mushroom, mocha. Difficult to locate in countries Pinot but very good nonetheless limited because sugar and jam. Very Good 89.

Sincerely, Matthew

Reconnecting Cable Tv

etc. Some bowling party before but

Hello,
preambles before the holidays, just to keep warm.

Meursault Charmes 2007 BC : The nose is buttery, brioche, fruit white background, notes and linden flower vine still discrete. The palate is rich, round, with a pretty bold, well supported by the material. The finish is wide, round, impressive on the cake, butter, roasted notes, background yellow fruit. Less elegance to date on Cras, in my taste. Very Good-Excellent 89-91.

Saint-Emilion, Chateau Armens 2003: A nose of ripe red fruit, oak barely perceptible, but elusive large mouth, supple finish a little dry tannin and firm. Less marked its wood than previous bottles, but not preserved material too loose for my taste. Although 85 .

Morgon Cote du Py Domaine Piron 2009: The famous 2009 vintage of Beaujolais, a nose of cherry, licorice edge, banana, amid bramble, who will speak especially after 24 hours. The taste is robust, large area, with silky tannins wrapping the attack with cherry, stone fruit, licorice, all in a ripe, but the aftertaste is more austere, straight and the material becomes rigid. The final round will be re-wrap, but after two days of opening, with a hint of fat, good length on ripe fruit with a touch bitter always marked the signing for me Beaujolais vintage currently on the cherry, licorice, bramble. It feels very nice bottle of custody if the stiffness and the bitterness of the finish is based. Very Good + 89-91.

Sincerely, Matthew

Mr. Martial Andrieu me permission to copy the article about PID in its entirety HAPPY http://histoiresdecarcassonne.blogs.lindependant.com/ Thanks again to Martial
which, moreover, made a remarkable research work on a musiscien Carcassonnais Paul Lacombe who emerged from oblivion (see lectures, articles and participating in various festival the City.)

"The Happy Nest (2)

" Happy Nest "was an orphanage in the city which hosted in 1949, children supervised by the Sisters of St. Vincent de Paul and a few instructors like Ms. Sarraute Jacqueline, Madeleine, Helena, etc. ... He succeeded well in "The sewing room" which was an establishment of Young girls of the same type between the two wars. The conditions were initially housed orphans (as graçons) were very poor and limit unhealthy. The sisters were very authoritarian and children bewildered by these terms. A number was assigned to each resident during that his stay could not exceed his 14 years (after graduation certificate). The first arriving were the three brothers Viero (Rene, Andrew and Gilbert) and the Rodriguez brothers (Gerard, Guy and Robert), brothers Coste (Raoul and Paul), the brothers Fabro (René and Louis), and Rey, Boyer, Arrigna etc ... The end of this period coincided with the arrival rigid new sisters much more sympathetic: Laguette Sister (Mother Superior), Sister St. Vincent (childcare), Sister Martha (Kitchen), Sister Henrietta (gardening, animal raising food), Sister Theresa (Quartermaster). Their transformation arriving traffic the establishment of a peaceful and humane place despite the absence of parental love.

The sisters brought children on Sunday in the countryside or at the stage Domec for rugby. They played also in the lists in the sport with young residents. There were also other activities such as cinema, circus and summer holiday camps or in the sea It happened that some orphans are welcomed by families to spend the day. For André Viero, it was a lasting recognition of Mr. and Mrs. Bataillé who inhabited the plateau Paul Lacombe.

Behind the orphanage, there was a garden where the nuns used to grow vegetables and a donkey "Grisette"

Sister Henriette left every Thursday and Saturday mornings Grisette with the market, to collect the food offered by the market gardeners solidarity. Andre Viero has fond memories for all inhabitants of the city: the brothers Sarraute, Solanilla, Vidal, Pech, Peyo, Pujol, Gaillagot, Commander Béteille Mr. Cadene, Abbe Pierre Pont Combe and slag.

Happy Nest was closed in 1962 and is family Pujol who bought into the Hotel du donjon. The sisters went to the nursing home in St Vincent Montolieu where they are buried. "

A rating of Provence: M 2003 Minuty

Hello,

Drunk on a grill, the Cote de Provence got rid of these slags woodlands.

Cote de Provence, Chateau Minuty 2003: A discrete milky nose of cassis, blackberry, candied orange note, tip chocolate prune, woody base has melted. The palate is plump, note kirchée, cassis, plum, round tannins that dry and poudrent unfortunately. The finish is powerful, a bit heated on cherry ripe, chocolate prune back. Although + 85
