Chicas De Silver Spring

Redégusté necessarily by much appreciated: Lirac queen of the woods, Gevrey Etelois

Hello everyone, recently tasted
Two wines that have shown different ... Truth is always in the bottle or in the head taster!

Gevrey Chambertin Rossignol Etelois Trapet 2007: A modest nose of cherry, currant, elderberry on a bottom edge kernel, woody notes with a slight caramel. The palate is fleshy with silky tannins in a delicate fashion, we can guess a bit of greed on the cherry cherry, elderberry and a woody base that lacks a little subtlety. The finish is round, with a lovely freshness and persistence on a bottom core, this bottle but lack some accuracy and this month opened only the previous . Very Good 89

Lirac La Reine des Bois 2008 Mordorée : A nose of plum, fig, candied orange, spicy, rich side souk, incense, menthol, Zan on a chocolate background and a touch toffee / coconut which disappears at ; aeration. The palate is fleshy, round, delicious on ripe fruit, fig, plum, chocolate background framed by silky tannins but a little loose and a hair-drying finish. It appears soft, greedy, a bit evasive and warming a suspicion but nicely perfumed ripe fig, candied orange and chocolate. I like those Southerners who in 2008 not the usual power even if the material has lost density. And this Lirac always gives as much pleasure as here and there . Very Good 88.

Sincerely, Matthew

Two regions, 2 wines, 2 very different profiles: Vosne Romanée, Saint-Emilion

Hello,
After an objection white, an exercise in red with 2 very different styles.

Saint Emilion Chateau Tertre of Augay 1998: A deep nose, class, yet on the subject of cassis, ink, and a bottom Graphyte light smokers. The palate is long stout, straight, depth accompanies silky tannins but a bit dry and stiff on the cassis, ink, graphytte, smoky and a bit of leather. The finish is right edge of freshness, fine, classy and beautiful with long persistence on the nose. Still closed, great potential. For wine lovers rights, deep but suddenly a bit austere. Very Good 89.

Vosne Romanée, Domaine Hudelot Noellat 2002: A nose of raspberry, red currant, blackberry, floral art, background elderberry, undergrowth and aeration of nice spicy / liquorice. The palate is fleshy with silky tannins, sweet which coats a fresh line, stretched on the currant, underbrush, blackberry, elderberry a tip, a rather fine and delicate style. The finish is fresh, invigorating, saliva, almost crisp and then accomplished with the amplitude of the red fruit, violet, blackberry. A classic village level, in form and in its bottom, great dinner companion. Very Good 88. The Pinotphiles radiate the bordeauxphiles wonder ...

Notes For Engagement Cards

Two white Under: Bourgogne Chardonnay Gambal , Fritz Haag Riesling

Hello,
Tasted a few days apart, these two bears are the opposites in their style, dry, straight and fine, on one side, sweet, opulent and plump the other. Suffice to say that there were no pictures between the 2 on this one.

Riesling Estate Kabinett Fritz Haag Brauneberg Juffer 2007: A nose at the opening of exotic fruit, because of currants, honey, precise but changing the aeration to notes from unsightly terpene and caoutchoux. The mouth is wide, full, greasy, enlivened by a beading saving overtaking a set of sweet candied citrus grapefruit. The final plump, tangy, grapefruit with sugar, candied orange, strongly influenced by a palace languid. Although 85 . Not really my style, too demonstrative and sweet.

Bourgogne Chardonnay 2006 Alex Gambal : A delicate nose of pear, white fruit, lime tip grilled / toasted bottom frangipanne. The mouth is straight, very fine with a smooth material that coats a voltage guideline mouth while balancing and lengthens, the bulb, the frangipanne, basswood. The final round is on a peak freshness, a lot of class and length with very good persistence frangipanne and toasted on a touch chalky. A style for Chardonnay Puligny excellence at this level of designation, I was blown away! Very Good 88-90. I'm going to check the purchase price, and the 12 €, well above the usual price of this level of designation, are nevertheless entirely justified.

Hyperpigmentation On Face

A gentle return to earth after the holidays: Pomerol, Meursault, Rimauresq

Hello,

To go quietly until this weekend, pretty bottles history to re-acclimate smoothly to "all comers" :-) after the party:

Vouvray Clos Naudin Domaine Foreau dry 2007: A white fruit nose, acacia, citrus edge on chalky background. The palate is soft on the attack, then right, long a voltage well coated with a material round the lemon, chalk, acacia. The finish is round, but rather short on lemon, hint of flint, chalk and citrus background. Very Good 88-90

Meursault Spikes 2007 BC: After the strange experience of the VV for the day of the year, it was again checked the drinkability of the 2007 Patrick. A beautiful nose of fresh pear, plum almost, tip brioche, marzipan, flower vine see note hawthorn. Sensual mouth with a nice attack on sweet, delicate then it tightens and it feels like a straight line stretched from the extension, is the racy flavors of pear, brioche frangipani, flower vine. The finish is round with a hint of fresh saliva and dynamic pear, frangipanne, a bottom edge and chalky toasted distinguished (and more tense as the end cras, more delicate than the Charmes). Excellent 91 especially for a town name! In addition, a real potential in 2-3 years to gain in finesse and complexity.

Pomerol, Chateau Petit Village 1990 : A nice nose of black fruit, leading kirchée bitter, with hints of mushroom, humus, dead leaves on a background of smoky charcoal. The palate is fused, stout, broad with silky tannins and delicate a structure contruite the bitterness with black fruit, dead leaves, stale tobacco. The finish is round, large, sweet, bitter edge black fruit, tobacco leaf life with an honest persistence. A wine to the point, very Pomerol nice. Very Good 87

Cote de Provence, 2006 Rimauresq : A seductive nose of creme de cassis, kernel, laurel cherry notes kirchée cocoa and chocolate on the bottom edge smoked. The mouth is wide corpulent black currant, black cherry tip kirchée background chocolate mocha, round tannins but a bit further drying in the finish, damage. The finish is strong with a hint kirchée, greedy side boundary blackcurrant jam, chocolate cherry and slightly smoky. A nice wine with a strong personality and evolves serene. Very Good 87.

A southern Rhone 2007 finally convincing: Guigal Gigondas

Hello,
The great southern Rhone vintage announced had not packed more than that, so far, the wines tasted. It goes quite differently on this bottle.

Guigal Gigondas 2007 : A powerful nose, ripe, of course, the plum, cherry kirchée few notes but also the slightly licorice, gingerbread, and a subtle Horchata tip. The taste is robust, heady with silky tannins on the loose fat cherry burlat blackberry, plum, gingerbread. The finish is powerful, it is not immune to a point that alcohol is nicely balanced by the subtlety Armoatic ripe fruit, cherry burlat ripe liquorice spice bread, barley water, a good persistence. Even if the power, fat and alcohol are there, subtlety, harmony and balance to this wine can provide a real pleasure and other sensations that raw power. Congratulations to the team, best vintage of this wine and enjoyed the first southern Rhone 2007 that convinces me! Very Good - Excellent 90-92

How Muck Does A Gold Plated Deagle Cost

city street

Should we add a comment to these pictures that shows the status of a street in the City, City World Heritage Site UNESCO. this street, as all the streets were dug up to be cemented early 20 th century was paved in the 60 on a trench, we can not say it's a success story is simply pathetic cement, tar, pavement, dirt. I know there are priorities Will I be but we argue a jewel that we know not develop and deteriorating day by day and that is unfortunate

An appreciation, however, it seems that after months and months if not years of work to be undertaken door Aude. At the place where tiles were retained by a safety net. Better late than never

Rioja cellar and found a few wines from the holidays

Hello,

few bottles between the two wake up, just to have fun and beneficial storage cellar.

Chambolle Musigny Les Charmes 2002 Clerget : A modest nose of cherry, humus, leaf dead point licorice. The palate is plump, large, a certain depth, the morello cherry, humus, dead leaves, an early Tertiary notes on delicate tannins round, the whole is pleasant, smoky licorice edge. The finish is fresh, round, low profile, but persisting pretty cherry, dead leaf, licorice smoked. A nice wine that lacks a little personality to enthuse, to date not fully open, I'll wait the next few years. Very Good 88 (15.5 Serge). On

chicken lemongrass, change from the usual Gewurz with a test:

Condrieu, Terrace Palat, Villard 2007: A rich nose, sweet, apricot, peach with a hint of tangerine background spiced honey. The palate is opulent, sweet greasy material, on the peach, apricot, but with a base built on the right bitter agrumeL The finish is round, sweet, bitter edge that makes it all palatable, but a tad short yellow apricot fruit ripe. Very Good 88, the wine has won "finesse" subsided after 2 years of cellar. The agreement with coconut lemongrass chicken is interesting, he erases the bitter wine, and makes it more tense and dynamic it is. Aromatically by cons, we lose the next yellow fruit, but we win en épice et en agrume.

The final round is delicious, sweet black fruit on the mature boundary confit with a touch sweet but palatable, light, long persistence prequ'anisée minty, spicy, hot tires, citrus. Excellent 91

Hot Nico Robin Themes

Magnificent passing year: Chambertin Rossignol Trapet 02, Clos St. Hune

Hello,
No specific program was scheduled for this Christmas Eve but a few days before, a phone with NicolasS just installed in Colmar, and presto, this old Alsatian weekends desire becomes a reality.
The program was very simple: no-brainer and visit the classics. Overall a great weekend, and very large wines.

For Eve, an aperitif and then click the entry (delicious foie gras), whose series of white Gewurztraminber, Mambourg Jean Marc Bernhard, 2008 bean which has a flowery nose in a basket exotic fruit, the attack is round, until all fat is not stretched into a long finish with a hint of bitterness and salinity that some would call a mineral.

I have not identified the Pinot Blanc Auxerrois 2008 Mann. The nose of pear, white fruit I mentioned the original chardonnay, but the sharp line grapefruit, citrus that animated mouth tight and right with respect wrap-ruined me. The final tip chalk marked on one line citrus finally sent me home to Chidaine Montlouis, 1000 km from its origin about. The

VV Meursault 2007 BC came home with a nose very discrete, see mute. The mouth of very fine constitution, moreover, has also been very closed and the final round but tight, well I switched to the Côte de Beaune Puligny side but. A little wine is recognizable and dripping at the antipodes of Cras Charms or 07 drunk recently.

Finally, rack of lamb, and to celebrate the arrival of little Peter, I had planned a surprise of course, wine of kings, the king of wines

A ruby color still shiny nose of a class or mad mixes ripe fruit red and black, licorice, underbrush notes slight background of delicate smoked, roasted meat, peak peony flower, it's magic. the mouth is just brilliant. The silky tannins coat beautifully the power, the strength of a structure long, deep, a straight line of racy throughout. The finish is fresh, powerful, wide but mostly enjoyable, because you Emene persistence in the world of immense wine or flavors of ripe fruit, roast, flowers, licorice endless back to hit you. A great moment of pleasure that Chambertin, Domaine Rossignol Trapet 2002 ( Exceptional 98-100). Finish the year with such a wine makes you want to start the next on the same register.

And so what we did with Nicole's friend, the next day at the tavern Alsatian. Superb meals including pumpkin soup with ravioli of foie gras anthology. For fish, it was simple:

Riesling Clos Saint Hune Trimbach 2001 : The nose is complex and captivating blends ripe citrus, lemon, a naphthenic melts, see hint of honey mead, hints of flint. The palate is oily fat free, lively without being aggressive, powerful in its final, explosive wide, high purity, on citrus, galanga, and a long persistence crystal. Superb. Exceptional 96 .
And for meat, we stayed simple

Chateaunuef Pope's Rayas 2002: A nose of strawberry, cherry on a background of cocoa, notes of underbrush, plant noble, and a nice tip roast fruit. The mouth is indeed superlative delicacy with tight tannins, touched the loose silk. Outstanding balance that I had not found on the 2000 final into a gourmet style with a hint of sweet without feeling confit. Excellent 94

The same evening, a Riesling 2008 Schoenenbourg Mayer-Fonne has been slow to open, and has even 24H00 to give its full measure. While Riesling Drei Exa 2008 of Ginglinger was immediately shown the race with a vintage Fescue mouth coated with a material just says, with a final round of persistence for this beautiful village appellation. But the bottle of the evening,

This Muller trading Gewurztraminer 1959 : a nose surprising and confusing for those who do not know like me. A nose of coffee, nuts tip, hint of licorice, liquorice, menthol and a peaty bottom of whysky Isley. The mouth is straight, obviously melted, oily but held on pecan, licorice, coffee, mocha, peat, a final admittedly somewhat elusive but with a long persistence on the aromas of the nose with a strong roasted coffee, peat. Surprising but very nice. Excellent 91

Finally, a lunch at Michel Ginglinger we will drink some wine to accompany the field of super meals made by Loretto. A very good Pinot Gris Pfersigberg 98, who are missing just a little gnaque final to be very large. TB 90 . While Riesling Pfersigberg 95 appears complex, long and balanced finish. I place it on the Eichberg. Very nice wine 93.
On
nuts veal, Pinot Roccaille 2008 I will lug between northern Rhone and Languedoc Roussillon. Beautiful wooded nose with hints of ripe fruit on the class, the core, cherry, bodied palate with tannins of great sweetness, silky, it's full, ripe, delicious into a long finish of ripe fruit and persistent, woody Smoked class. Excellent 92 94 . The level of a fine terroir 1erC Bourguignon.

This will be confirmed by comparison with the Champans Voillot 2007 Volnay below. A nose with a little more freshness of bramble and undergrowth, a mouth superlaive delicacy but with a dense material that provides ample soyeusxe a magnificent frame to the whole. The finish is superb between the freshness that brings elegance and delicacy and ripe fruit, which gives gluttony. Excellent Very nice bottle 94. A superb weekend

passing year. Happy New Year to all Dciens and that 2011 allows you to drink as much bottled in such good company! And thank you to Patrick for this interface, without him, ever such a time would come!

Sincerely, Matthew
