Chicas De Silver Spring

Redégusté necessarily by much appreciated: Lirac queen of the woods, Gevrey Etelois

Hello everyone, recently tasted
Two wines that have shown different ... Truth is always in the bottle or in the head taster!

Gevrey Chambertin Rossignol Etelois Trapet 2007: A modest nose of cherry, currant, elderberry on a bottom edge kernel, woody notes with a slight caramel. The palate is fleshy with silky tannins in a delicate fashion, we can guess a bit of greed on the cherry cherry, elderberry and a woody base that lacks a little subtlety. The finish is round, with a lovely freshness and persistence on a bottom core, this bottle but lack some accuracy and this month opened only the previous . Very Good 89

Lirac La Reine des Bois 2008 Mordorée : A nose of plum, fig, candied orange, spicy, rich side souk, incense, menthol, Zan on a chocolate background and a touch toffee / coconut which disappears at ; aeration. The palate is fleshy, round, delicious on ripe fruit, fig, plum, chocolate background framed by silky tannins but a little loose and a hair-drying finish. It appears soft, greedy, a bit evasive and warming a suspicion but nicely perfumed ripe fig, candied orange and chocolate. I like those Southerners who in 2008 not the usual power even if the material has lost density. And this Lirac always gives as much pleasure as here and there . Very Good 88.

Sincerely, Matthew
