Notes For Engagement Cards

Two white Under: Bourgogne Chardonnay Gambal , Fritz Haag Riesling

Hello,
Tasted a few days apart, these two bears are the opposites in their style, dry, straight and fine, on one side, sweet, opulent and plump the other. Suffice to say that there were no pictures between the 2 on this one.

Riesling Estate Kabinett Fritz Haag Brauneberg Juffer 2007: A nose at the opening of exotic fruit, because of currants, honey, precise but changing the aeration to notes from unsightly terpene and caoutchoux. The mouth is wide, full, greasy, enlivened by a beading saving overtaking a set of sweet candied citrus grapefruit. The final plump, tangy, grapefruit with sugar, candied orange, strongly influenced by a palace languid. Although 85 . Not really my style, too demonstrative and sweet.

Bourgogne Chardonnay 2006 Alex Gambal : A delicate nose of pear, white fruit, lime tip grilled / toasted bottom frangipanne. The mouth is straight, very fine with a smooth material that coats a voltage guideline mouth while balancing and lengthens, the bulb, the frangipanne, basswood. The final round is on a peak freshness, a lot of class and length with very good persistence frangipanne and toasted on a touch chalky. A style for Chardonnay Puligny excellence at this level of designation, I was blown away! Very Good 88-90. I'm going to check the purchase price, and the 12 €, well above the usual price of this level of designation, are nevertheless entirely justified.

Sincerely, Matthew
