The transition from Nicosia to Paris now becomes a special moment for our little tasting dinners. The finish is powerful, saliva, salt, with a long finish marked a breeding blown. Easy and less greedy, more substantive, more power. Excellent 90-93 (16-17,5) Morey Chassagne Romanée Coffinet 2007. Less fun to date but more potential (Fun drinking these wines in a row, nice coincidence between Serge and me for once)

Wine 3: Nose flowers, yellow fruit and chalky notes frangipanne a woodsy roasted light. Mouth right dense, long on fruit yellow chalk with a large field in which frames a greasy righteousness, blood, and that balances all is revealed in a finale removed and soft without heaviness and good persistence. Excellent 91-93 (16.5 to 17.5) Meursault Cras Voillot 2008.


Wine 4: camphor caramel nose, very ripe fruit wine from the south, powerful palate with candied cherry on the creamy tannins, powerful final round marked ample alcohol. New World Pinot and effectively BethelHeight Oregon Pinot Noir 2007 . Neutral 80 (12)

Wine 5: Nose net with no animal notes, crisp palate with high acidity and tannins a bit hard, a final fresh, lively. VV Volnay 2008 Domaine Voillot . A bottle not clear and certainly very different from previous testing, which were much more pleasant.

Wine 6: Nose Cherry Burl on a background smoked end elegant, fleshy mouth, while treat long straight silky tannin coating a nice fresh air dynamic a delicate finish long, large candy red currant fruit, raspberry, blackberry note under -wood smoked background. Excellent 91 + (16.5 +) 2008 Volnay Fremiets Voillot . Pinot as I love pure, precise, dainty, end ...
Wine 7: Nose cassis notes boletus mushroom background mocha coffee, straight mouth attack velvety tannins melt in an assembly having a nice tension. Wide wide on the final fruit of the mushroom tart and a side persistence amid mocha. Prieur Volnay Santenots 2001. Excellent 92 (16.5 to 17)

Wine 8: ripe cassis nose tip animal smoked wood, wide mouth delicious ripe currant, silky tannins on a thin line taut, fresh long finish, nice accuracy. Pommard Chaniere Catherine and Claude Marechal 2002. TB 89 (15.8)

Wine 9: ripe black fruit nose, woody class marked mocha, new world, spherical palate, superb with silky tannins coating density, the amplitude of a very ripe fruit, ample off fianl woody class. Excellent 92-94 (16.5 to 17.5). St Innocent Pinot Noir Oregon 2007 Justice wineyards . Bravo, balance modernity, openness, greed, class.


Vin 10: Nose camphor, hot tires, soybean, broad mouth slightly dissociated strong acid / tannin material on Drying and hard, maturity limits, ripe fruit finish camphorated menthol. B-TB 86 (14.5). Clos Jordane Black Pinot 2007 Ontario . After the previous one, it's a bit hard in every sense, taste, maturity ...

Vin 11: Nose meaty ripe fruit wood smoke, ripe mouth wide attack limit confit, silky tannin, but all collapsed in a final fleeting, on the bitter. TB 88 (15.2) Chambolle Musigny Charmes Fred Magnien 2003 .

Vin 12: Nose animal mushroom tart tannin mouth fleshy round rustic, tangy finish of ripe fruit, a bit short. TB 87 (14.8) Girardin Pommard Charmots Royer 2000.


13 Wine Nose dominated by livestock on caerise kirchée mocha class background, beautiful smooth bodied palate with silky tannins coating a wide dynamic freshness into the final large and high persistence scored some more breeding. Wine too young, but great potential. Excellent + 92-94 (17-18) Champans Voillot 2007 Volnay

Vin 14: Nose end class of exotic fruit, roast, with a background Öarna bitter mocha, nuts, full mouth vivid tangerine delicate fondue candied orange candied walnuts, roasted fruit, final areienne very persistent bitter edge. Excellent 93 (17.5) Barsac Chateau Coutet 90.
