From Tradition to the temptation!
living memory columnist I had no recollection of ever having met on the Cote d'Azur, a talent as pronounced in the case of a pastry-chocolate-ice cream , and catering to boot. Serge Serain respects this tradition and duty that was imposed to want to satisfy all appetites finest and wildest delicacies. Moreover, in recent year-end festivities did he not devoted to the welfare of the papillae of its customers by concocting salad canapés, salmon or asparagus tips, sandwiches, Pan bagnat or small lunches filled with cold meats, toast and Guacamole crayfish, foie gras and duck breast, grilled red mullet on a bed of tapenade, purses of salmon or chicken curry and dill cream, and even, let bold, trays crab, crayfish lobster and the most beautiful effect taste!
Apart from glasses and surprise breads, meats, white and pink have been honored with a chicken or a duck "reconstituted" foie gras! It is true that for the eight people "serving" would have been incongruous to say the least! It's the only reason we will abstain! As for sweets and other baked or frozen desserts, traditional logs will have declined in seven versions, all appreciated, more mutually exclusive than others, tradition at Orchard Nanon, the Mandarin in Ardeche, all with tenderness to an end in three chocolates, there is no need to invent that we have succumbed to the temptation! It was exquisite, and that's it! Notwithstanding that you can still find those sweet "secret" pastry in individual shares throughout the year, Serge Serain, with the delicious "complicity" of his wife Valerie, prolonging the moment of pleasure with frozen desserts, Vacherin, cottage iced nougat ice cream or baked Alaska that we've had for the latter, the honor to taste! If I had, about this, put it, there is no need to serve as contentment if not happiness, exult!
